Duncan Everett

Optimal Monitoring’s EMMA AI product has gained significant traction in the UK over the past three years and is at the forefront of this ambitious growth agenda.

EMMA AI® solves the time and skills barrier to eliminating unnecessary consumption and reducing carbon emissions, at a fraction of the cost of the identified savings. As the name suggests EMMA AI® uses a sophisticated Artificial Intelligence engine, designed to make proactive energy management simple.

Everett is a 16-year veteran of the Optimal business, starting as a software developer and moving steadily through the management ranks during his time with the business.

Duncan (54) was educated at the King Edward VI collage in Nuneaton then at Aston University where he gained a BSc (Hons) in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in 1991. He is married to Lisa with whom he has a son, Jack. He lives in Bicester, Oxfordshire.

I am immensely proud and excited about taking on the role of CEO for Optimal Monitoring.  I’ve seen it grow from a relatively small player in the AM&T space to its current position as probably the leading exponent of Artificial Intelligence in energy management. I can’t wait to embark upon the next phase of our journey with this business
